Uncle Buzz’s Chocolate is a wholesale chocolate candy company. Our products are dark chocolate with the finest fair trade, organic, and/or local ingredients. We specialize in Old World, European-style chocolates handmade in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Uncle Buzz Chocolates is family-owned by Uncle Buzz and his son Noah, and run with lots of help from our friends. Currently Mike Frick, Jonathan Rabinovitz, Risa Garlick and Bret Sarnquist are a big part of what is happening at Uncle Buzz’s right now.
Mike has been with us since the beginning making us look good, Bret has brought us some fresh new vision with his extensive chocolate and culinary knowledge, Jonathan is fundamental in creating our company strategy, and Risa is a great office manager.
Noah and Uncle Buzz are very grateful to these people and all the others who have helped us in the last eight years of chocolate making madness.
Our “Mission” at Uncle Buzz’s Chocolate is to promote quality of life products focusing on high quality, fairly traded ingredients. We firmly believe in quality over quantity, and that exercise and diet add to the quality of our lives. You do not need to eat a lot of chocolate…just good chocolate, in this case ours.
Products:
Here is a list of our products, all made with attention to quality and fair trade Kosher Parve dark chocolate and Kosher white chocolate.
Noah’s Bar
A hazelnut cream filled almond bar made with 55% cacao dark chocolate. This has always been one of, if not the, best sellers in our line.
Miss Cara’s Cup (dairy free)
Chocolate, peanuts, and salt are all we need in our peanut butter cups. Our 55% cacao dark chocolate teams up with an all-natural peanut butter to make this classic combination, one of our most popular pieces.
Miss Minda’s Hot Kiss (dairy free)
Old world cayenne and cinnamon dusted morsels made with our 55% cacao dark chocolate, this is a Mexican tradition. The southwest flavors in this piece make it a great one for tourists and locals alike.
Cherry Chipolte Bar (dairy free)
Dried cherries and chipotle in our 55% cacao dark chocolate…this is another great southwestern flavor combination that has proven very popular.
Buzz Bites (dairy free)
Dark roasted coffee beans enrobed in 55% cacao dark chocolate. Our beans are Direct Trade coffee beans from Cafe de Dona Ella, a locally-owned company with a plantation in El Salvador that practices sustainable and chemical-free agriculture with shade-grown plants.
Lavender Love Bites
White chocolate flavored with whole dried lavender flowers. We use a high percentage white chocolate (30% cocoa butter) for a clean, less sweet flavor and a smooth mouthfeel…a classic dating back to the Victorian era.
Heart of Darkness
An extra dark chocolate truffle with a ganache center made with 72% cacao dark chocolate and heavy cream. This is a piece that is quickly becoming a favorite with the dark side.
Shred Webster (dairy free)
Raw cacao nibs, local Flagstaff honey, and organic carob in a 72% cacao extra dark chocolate shell. We consider this long awaited piece to be our sport energy bar with pure natural energy.
We’ve always got lots of exciting stuff in the pipeline, including hot cocoa mixes, chocolate syrups, and new truffles and bars. In addition, we always do a unique “special” for each farmers market just to keep the regulars on their toes…come check it out!

Thanks, Wendy, we appreciate that! We too believe our chocolate is some of the best available anywhere, but we’re biased. We’re also all about the “buy local” thing, as much as we can given that our core raw ingredient can only grow equatorial areas. Our honey comes from Flagstaff, our lavender comes from Winter Sun Herbs here in downtown, our cream comes from in-state, and our coffee beans are direct trade, from Manuel Santana at Cafe de Dona Ella, whose beans come from his plantation in El Salvador.
